Why this beats scaffolding or an EWP
- No access structure to pay for. On a clean, access is often the biggest line in the quote. Rope access removes it.
- Nothing blocking your entrance. No boom lift parked across the footpath, no scaffold wrapped around the ground floor.
- Faster turnaround. We are on site, up, and done — without waiting on an access structure to go up and come down.
- Reaches what machines cannot. Recessed elevations, light wells and awkward frontages that an EWP simply cannot get to.
- Protects the building fabric. Regular soft washing stops salt and organic growth from degrading cladding and sealants.
Common questions
How often should a commercial building be washed?
It depends on exposure. Wellington buildings near the coast or on exposed elevations pick up salt and grime much faster, and typically want cleaning more often than sheltered inland sites. We will recommend a realistic cycle when we quote.
Will cleaning disrupt our tenants?
Very little. There is no scaffolding and no machinery at ground level, so entrances, walkways and parking stay clear. We work down the building elevation by elevation.
Can you clean the inside of the windows too?
The exterior face is what we do on ropes. Talk to us about the interior and we will let you know what we can arrange.
Do you do one-off cleans or only contracts?
Both. Some clients are on a scheduled cycle, others call us for a one-off before a sale, inspection or event.
Is soft washing safe on our cladding?
Yes — that is the point of it. We match the method and pressure to the substrate so the surface is cleaned without being damaged.
